My grandmother once told me, "Look onto the horizon, we see the same sun." That sentiment lives in everything I make, and it is the heart of Flora Sagrada.

Flora Sagrada x GOLDSTORIES Jewelry Collection

Flora Sagrada x Goldstories is a jewelry collection born from the same light as my heart sculpture SŌL. It began when Subikksha Balaje, the founder of Goldstories, saw SŌL. I drew each design by hand, and Goldstories translated my drawings into three dimensions, every polished and matte surface, every raised detail, considered with care. We turned to the California poppy, whose colors are the Bay Area sunsets I watch on my hikes, the same warm horizon my grandmother meant. Celebrating these indigenous flowers is a way of paying respect to this land and to the Ohlone people, its first stewards. Sacred flora, the same sun, wherever we stand.
